The University of Nairobi Press was incorporated in 1984 and began publishing reading material for both the Kenyan people and the global community at large in 1990. UNOP is a semi-autonomous publishing house owned by the University of Nairobi and as such, acts as an effective agent for the dissemination of research findings and communication of scholarly knowledge.
